Malaga – the well known city in the Costa del Sol region of Spain, is full of tapas bars, quintessential European summer beaches, and a lively atmosphere. Finding vegan organic options can sometimes be tricky outside of the bigger cities, but there are always options. I only had one night in Malaga, but I was so excited about these two healthy spots that I had to share them with you!
Probably the best spot for organic breakfast in Malaga! There are actually two locations of this great cafe, both in ideal areas around the city center. Everyone can find something they’ll enjoy at this cafe and it is a great choice if you want a healthy breakfast. With modern decor and a great menu I was so excited to find this place! Although there were not a ton of vegan items listed on the menu, they were more than happy to make something vegan. Everything is organic and not lacking in flavor at all. The coffee was AMAZING and I loved the “pan con tomate.”
100% organic, vegan, and local! This is one of my favorite cafes I have ever been to, and certainly one of the best vegan spots in Spain. Currently wishing I could go back to Malaga and eat at Raw Attitude again! Located in the Soho neighborhood of Malaga, this is a more quiet, yet well located area. Less than a 10 minute walk from the Marina, it is well worth visiting. Adorable decor and a very friendly staff with incredible food! Not only is it very healthy, but it is tasty and innovative. There is also a store located inside which can be very convenient for finding some healthy groceries and snacks for your time in Malaga!
I was also able to visit Recyclo Bike Café which had some great vegan options as well! It had an awesome hipster vibe to it with great music as well as a huge selection of drinks. Highly recommended to experience the true vibe of Malaga!
Cañadú, a wonderful vegetarian restaurant situated in Plaza de la Merced, was the perfect place for a nice dinner. The spaghetti was delicious! All of the wine selection is organic. If you have time, this is a great choice for an memorable evening in Malaga.
