Looking to purchase some essential oils but you’re not sure which ones are most beneficial?

These seven oils are great for all around every day use and to help common health problems that can occur. Essential oils not only are a great way to use what the earth has provided for us for overall health but they are natural, without harmful chemicals, and smell wonderful. These are the organic essential oils that I have carried around with me from around the world (hence the difference in languages). I am not at all a doctor, but with personal use and research, I have found essential oils to be so important to travel with!

Tips for buying essential oils:   You can find essential oils at any health foods store or natural pharmacy in your area. There are also great deals online such as Amazon.com for oils. I recommend to make sure that the oil is not a fragrance oil, organic when possible, and is labeled “100% essential oil” on the packaging.

Tea Tree Oil

This anti-microbial oil has so many benefits to our health, it should be in everyone’s home. Helping with the common cold, acne, fungus, itchy bites, and can even be added to cleaners. Add a few drops onto your acne prone areas to smooth skin and get rid of spots.

Coconut Oil

Not exactly an essential oil, but had to be included. Coconut oil is the ultimate oil! Great for skin and hair health, keeping things moisturized and nourished. This oil is amazing to use for oil pulling to help oral health. Also, of course coconut oil is awesome for raw foods and cooking, making it a much healthier choice to cook with than other oils. I recommend always purchasing unrefined organic coconut oil like the one below for best results and health benefits.

Argan Oil

Possibly the best oil for your beauty needs! Wonderful for hair conditioning and styling, face toning, and nail health. Use this every night before bed as a double for a natural moisturizer and toner. Also, give yourself a manicure and use argan oil on your cuticles for beautiful looking nails.

Peppermint Oil

Refreshing, soothing, and energizing. This oil will help with respiratory health, digestion, muscle pain, and even hair growth. Aiding stomach aches and relieving headaches, this is a oil that should definitely be in your home! If you have a cough or even bronchitis, boil some hot water, put a few drops of peppermint oil and the hot water into a bow. Breathe the steam with a towel over your head for incredible results. So many great benefits with peppermint oil, not to mention, it smells like candy canes!

Lavender Oil

Beautiful smelling scent but there is so much more to lavender oil than how wonderful it smells. Known as one of the most calming oils and can help with depression and insomnia. Place a few drops of lavender oil in to your hands and breathe deeply before you meditate for great relaxation. This oil also has great benefits for your skin and hair! Fighting acne and promoting hair growth are just a few.

Lemongrass Oil

Lemongrass oil is awesome for reducing pain and it is incredibly antimicrobial which can greatly help cure bacterial infections. This oil can even help lactating mothers produce milk as well as helping with urination and cleanliness of kidneys.

Eucalyptus Oil

This very earthy smelling oil has wonderful health benefits. Treating asthma and helping fight cavities, eucalyptus oil is an amazing oil to have in your home. As well as the peppermint oil treatment mentioned above, using eucalyptus oil is an essential addition to help respiratory issues.

Oregano Oil

Oregano oil is very anti-immflamatory which makes it very helpful for discomforts like redness and irritation. Also, helps immensely with inflamed lungs, viruses from fungal infections, and even intestinal worms. This is a strong oil and should be taken with caution but with the right amounts it can be extremely effective.

Please take caution when using essential oils as there can be reactions if your body has not experienced these oils before. Take in very small amounts at first and speak to your doctor about your allergies before using.
